Harold Mosher

Mosher, Harold Charles, age 85, died Sunday May 4, 2008 in Wyoming Medical Center.
Born September 27, 1922 in Fowler, CA he was raised in Monterey CA where he graduated high school. Harold went to San Jose State for a year before entering the Army Air Force October of 1942 where served until Feb. 1946. He later retired from the reserves. He received his BS Degree from University of Wyoming in Geology. Harold worked in oil fields and with water wells around the world including Pakistan and Domican Republic settling in Casper in 1968 while traveling around the country on jobs for several more years. He was a member of the Wyoming Geological Assoc., enjoyed sailing, canoeing and was an avid reader.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Mosher, Casper, WY; Son, Donald Mosher of Silverdale, WA; Brother, Roger Mosher of San Francisco, CA; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Mark and a brother.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Father Bob Fox officiating. Private inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Casper.

Contributions may be made to Holy Cross Food Bank or Interfaith of Casper.

Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
