Hailey Rose Stainbrook was born January 15, 1991 in La Mesa, California and died February 20, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Michael Troughton and Grandfather, Jerry Stainbrook. She is survived by her Mother, Penny Scholz; Step-Father, Karl Scholz; Brother, Matthew; Son, Milo Franklin and Daughter, Luna Rose Stainbrook-Scholz. Also by her Grandmother, Leila Rose Stainbrook, Aunts, Glenice Stainbrook, Hope Johnson, and Cousin, Jessi Sheets-DeWitt.
Hailey loved her children Milo and Luna very much and tried to be a fun mom to them when she could. She was creative and loved to make picture collages and fabulous Halloween costumes.
Hailey was a free spirit and definitely marched to her own drum. Hailey was always the champion of the underdog even to her own detriment. The truth of the matter is Hailey was in my ways a lost soul who wanted desperately to fit in, love, and be loved. She wanted to be a great mother, daughter, friend, and soul mate, but mental health issues and addiction stole that away. If you know and love an addict then you know that sometimes you must love them from afar because the self destruction of your loved on is too much to bear.
Hailey was much loved by her family and friends. To say the least, she will be desperately missed.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things shall pass away."
Hailey is suffering no more and is free to fly.
