Grace (Tully) Butler, 95, passed away February 9th, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Denver, CO. A lifelong Wyoming resident, she was born on August 17, 1913 in Rawlins to Ella May (Teeter) and Robert L. Tully. She grew up on the family ranch near Muddy Gap. She graduated from Rawlins High School and attended the University of Wyoming, earning a teaching certificate. In March of 1934, she married John F. Butler. They lived in Bairoil WY until 1961, then moved to Sand Draw WY. In 1970, when John retired, they moved to Casper where she lived until her death. She was a member of the Casper Antique and Collector's Club.
She is survived by her sister, Zelma Price of Cottonwood, AZ, daughter Sharon Trujillo of Denver, CO, and son Jerry Butler of Casper, granddaughters Lora Trevis and Tana Trujillo, grandsons Kevin, Kenneth and Karl Butler, 15 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Massey Kruger, and five brothers Cole, Kenneth, Robert, George and Marion Tulley.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 14th at Newcomer Funeral Home in Casper, WY. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Casper, WY, following the service.
