Heaven got a little brighter on January 1, 2018 when Gloria Jean Shore, age 67, of Casper, passed away surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born October 22, 1950 in Murray, Utah to Arthur and Mary Vigil. On February 27, 1982, she married the love of her life, John Shore. She loved her profession as a cosmetologist, she was very passionate about making her clients beautiful. She owned Hair East Designs for 39 successful years. She fought her quiet battle with cancer for over 4 years, she was such a warrior that many never knew she was ill. Gloria was a proud mother of 3 beautiful daughters. She enjoyed bowling in a league with her friends, spending her summers at Alcova, and traveling to her Lake Havasu, Arizona home.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Vigil. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, John Shore, mother, Mary Vigil, daughter, Missy (Rob) Norton, LeAnn Thompson, Cassie (Kristian) Shore-Fasching, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 5:00pm until the beginning of the Rosary at 7:00pm at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery.
Memorials in her name may be made to Salt Lake City Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1275 E Fairfax Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
