Glenn Elliot Anderson passed away May 28th, 2023 at Meadow Wind Assisted Living surrounded by his family. He was born June 8th, 1939 in Casper, Wyoming. He was the youngest of 4 children to Rupert and Hattie Anderson. Glenn attended High School in Casper, Wyoming and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1957. He worked at the Potato Chip Factory and Community TV after High School.
Not too long after he graduated High School Glenn joined the Air Force in Great Falls, Montana. He served 4 years of active duty from 1958-1962, and continued his service with the Air National guard for 23 years. Glenn completed an Electrical Apprenticeship and worked as an Electrician for 30 years including 10 years for the state of Wyoming as traffic signal repair man.
He met the love of his life Mary Chaput and married her at Saint Anthony's church on November 9th, 1973. They were married for 50 years and remained proud members of St. Patricks Catholic Church throughout their marriage. The fun began when they welcomed their two children Tommy and Theresa into their lives in 1978 and 1980.
Glenn loved his Ham Radio, camping, fishing, traveling and the casino. He was the "Rock" for his family and will be remembered for it always.
Glenn is proceeded in death by his parents Rupert and Hattie, sibling Mary Lou Larson, Ralph Anderson, and Alice Ruth Whitaker. He is survived by his children, Tommy Anderson (Amber), Theresa Albrecht (Josh), and his Grandchildren Kaden and Thomas Albrecht.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 5th at Newcomer Funeral Home with Chaplain Rev. Phillip Vaske.
