Glen R. Potter, 61, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born March 15, 1959 in Durango, Colorado.
He proudly served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1977 until 1982. He was blessed with two daughters, Peaches Marie and Miranda Jo. In 1985 he suffered a serious brain injury, but he was always strong. He never let his injury get him down. He enjoyed time with his family, hunting, fishing, his sweets, bacon and coffee.
He is survived by his two daughters, Peaches Davis and Miranda (Caleb) Clark; his brothers, Lyle (Joni) Potter and Harry (Donna) Potter, Jr.; and also his grandchildren, Tori Davis, Trace Davis, Toni Clark, Ryann Clark and Morgan Clark. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Melva K. Potter; his sister, Jean Marie England; and his nephew, Lynn Michael Potter.
A short service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, 80 Veteran's Road, Evansville, Wyoming.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Hunting With Heroes Wyoming at www.huntingwithheroes.org
A celebration of Glen's life service will be held this summer.
