Geraldine "Jeri" Coryell-Alloway, 94, of Sun City, Arizona and Casper, Wyoming passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, Arizona.
Geraldine was born December 19, 1928 in Crawford, NE the daughter of Carl Hollibaugh and Alma Dunlap Hollibaugh. She graduated from Marsland High School in 1946. Attended Chadron State Teachers College. Began teaching at Rural Schools, while still teaching went back to school getting her Mater's Degree in Greeley, CO plus an additional 30 hours. She was a teacher for Natrona County School District for 32 years. Also a Realtor for Arrow Realty for many years.
Jeri belonged to many social clubs in Casper and Phoenix, the Elks, Red Hatters, Knights of Columbus and Lions Clubs. She was the president of the DOES at the Casper Elks Club. She was a kind and giving person her whole life . She had sacrificed so much for her two sons.
Geraldine is survived by her two sons, Michael (Teresa) Coryell of Casper, WY and Russell Coryell of Sun City, AZ; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and by her two sisters, Bonnie Chapman of Cheyenne, WY and Irene Casey of Phoenix, AZ; as well as many other family and friends.
Jeri enjoyed line dancing, gardening, spending time with family, gambling, watching Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune and Dancing With the Stars.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 400 Country Club Rd, Casper, Wyoming. Jeri's funeral will be webcast at the scheduled time on St. Patrick's YouTube channel: @stpatrickscatholicchurch8330.
