George F. Roszel , 79, of Casper, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2015 at Central Wyoming Hospice.
He was born October 20, 1935 in Bushton, Kansas, the son of George and Ettie (Mills) Roszel. He was a graduate of Cheyenne High School and later attended Casper College. George proudly served in the United States Army. On May 26, 1963 he married Linda Rose, of Rock Springs, Wyoming. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and was an active member of the Single Action Six Shooters Association. In his free time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and flying. For over 40 years he was a private charter pilot before retiring.
George is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Linda, two sons; Marty (Kerri) Roszel and Bart (Natalie) Roszel; three brothers, John Roszel, Steve (Shirley) Roszel and Tom (Pat) Roszel; grandchildren; Hailey (Ryan) Hauck, Zach Roszel, Logan Roszel, Quincy Roszel, Christopher Roszel, Kehlin Roszel, Lucas Roszel and Austin Abrams, great grandchildren; Jaiden and Ryker. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 5, 2015, Monday at 1:00 p.m. for George at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1101 Wilkins Circle, Casper, Wyoming.
