George H. Rudkin

A memorial service for George Rudkin, 83, will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Park Community Church Chapel.
George passed away on July 20, 2013 in Casper, Wyoming.

He was born on October 1, 1929 in Canoga Park, California to William and Ruth Rudkin. George was a Scoutmaster and an Eagle Scout, a Mason, and he graduated from U.C.L.A. with a degree in Geology. He married his wife Adrienne in 1951 and moved to Casper in 1979. He went to work for Ohio Oil Company, and he retired from Marathon Oil after over 30 years of service.

George was an avid golfer; he also enjoyed camping with his family, and outdoor sports. He was an active leader at Highland Park Community Church. He served on the Casper Planning and Zoning Commission.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Adrienne, children, Suzanne Anderson (Philip) of Dallas, TX, Steven Rudkin (Dion) of Longview, TX, Tom Rudkin (Tami) of Casper, and Ron Rudkin of Fort Collins, CO. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Highland Park Community Church or to the Central Wyoming Senior Center.
