Genia Tschacher

September 27, 1956 — March 25, 2017

Eugenia Octavia Tschacher, also known as Genia, passed away March 25th, 2017 at the age of 60 in her home in La Barge, Wyoming. She was born in Casper, Wyoming on September 27th, 1956 to Frank Edward Alley and Betty Lou Thomas-Alley.

She grew up in California with her two sisters, Trina Potter and Sherrie Alley. But met the love of her life, Tim Tschacher, in Douglas, Wyoming where they fell in love, married and started their family of two daughters, Tori Larson and Tavie Tschacher. During their 41 years of marriage they also had two granddaughters, Raina and Sloan. The other loves of her life were many, many animals-mostly her dogs- that she cared for and loved unconditionally throughout her life. Her passion for animals, books and family is what she loved.

Genia highlighted this quote from one of her books, "I believe it important to emphasize how strongly I feel that books, just like people, have a destiny. Some invite sorrow, others joy, some both." Through all the sorrows and joys of life, Genia will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, April 6th, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel.
