Gene R. Isbell

September 5, 1930 — November 7, 2013

Gene went home to be with Jesus the afternoon of November 7, 2013 after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregiver during the last days of his life. Gene was born in Albany, TX, and served in the United States Air force for 16 years. In 1988, Gene married Sadie Pulanco and lived in Casper, WY the rest of his life. Gene, and his wife Sadie were happily married for 17 years. In his will he wanted to make sure Sadie knew how much he loved her with all of his heart.

Gene is survived by his brothers Robert Neal, James Isbell, his sister June Bailey, and his beautiful wife Sadie along with his biological daughter Leanne Wayne. He is also survived by his three step children (and spouses: Richard & Debbie Pulanco, Phil and Elinda Pulanco, Sharon and Michael Lockwood, and seven grandchildren: Priscilla, Kharesse, Constance, Karlene, Donny, Kimberly and Christopher, along with many great grandchildren including Decimus whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his father Olen Isbell, his mother Anna Bell Lindsey, and his three siblings: Bill, Virginia, Allene and Betty.
