Gabriel Louis Tocco, age 80, was born on August 31, 1938 in Algiers, Algeria. He passed away on November 11, 2018 in Casper, WY. When he was 17 ½ years old, he came to Queens, N.Y. where he met his future wife Patricia. (They would have been married 60 years in January of 2019). He loved driving large trucks and worked for Exxon and delivered gasoline in New York City. They had three children (Theresa, Marc, and Paul) while living in Kew Gardens, N.Y. After that, the family moved to Sayville, Long Island where they had their 4th child Steven. They moved to Casper, WY in 1978. In Casper, he worked for Sinclair Oil for 22 years driving and also dispatching before retiring at age 62. His nickname was "Frenchie" among his fellow truck drivers.
He has eight grandchildren: Kevin (Chelsea) Burgess, Andrew (Lindsey) Burgess, Jacob (Carlee) Tocco, Aaron Tocco, Sarah Tocco, Daniel Kolb, Valerie Kolb, and Piper Tocco. There are also seven great-grandchildren: Sydney and Avery Burgess, Isaiah and Jordan Romero, Cole and Cameron Tocco, and Adelaide Burgess. He was preceded in death by his father, Pierre Paul Tocco; mother, Marie Josephine Tocco; baby sister, Rita Tocco; and three brothers, Sauveur, Rene and Michael Tocco.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Theresa (Lee) Burgess, Marc Tocco, Paul (Sherry) Tocco, and Steven (Denise) Tocco; and two siblings, Christiane Tocco who lives in France and Pierre Tocco who lives in Virginia.
Gabriel loved to play the organ and piano. He had a very good heart and loved his family.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the Recitation of the Rosary Service at 7:00 PM, Monday, November 19, 2018 at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery in Casper, Wyoming.
