GABRELLE RACHELLE HINCKLEY
aka GABBY “BOB” RIETZ
Blessed us on October 10, 2008. Left us broken on May 27, 2024.She brought light and joy to our lives from the moment she entered this world and will continue to burn bright in our hearts.
Gabby Bob- Granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, cowgirl, fisherman, showman. Gabby enjoyed playing volleyball, cheerleading, FFA judging team, choir, six years of 4-H. She showed horses, chickens, sheep, pigs, goats and dogs in 4-H and competed in AKC dog shows with her aunts. Talented and a beautiful person inside and out.
In 2022 Gabby chose to commit her life to Christ at Christian First Assembly with support and guidance from her father Thomas Hinckley.. One of God’s greatest miracles that brought people together. .
Gabby from a very young age passionately loved horses, music, and driving. She had her first horse at age 4 and would gather and trail cows and so began the love for horses and speed. She had her own 4 wheeler by age 5 and would run the ranch and trails all on her own, of course at top speed. She drove on laps across the ranch anytime she could talk someone into letting her. She bought her own vehicle at age 15. Gabby loved singing in choir, karaoke, and teaching sister and cousins the Tik Toc dances to match songs. Gabby was a great showman like her aunt Danielle and continued to improve with help from Savannah, Danielle, Brooke, and several other very special people in our lives.
Gabby looked forward to our annual family gatherings at the family reservoir. Camping, swimming, wrestling, fireworks, smoking swisher cigars (family tradition) and being with family. These were special times and made many memories for her to talk about.
Memaw and papa encouraged Gabby to do so many things most kids wouldn’t be afforded or experience until they were much older. Her childhood bucket list was mostly complete. She was building on bigger and long term dreams and the bucket list to match, Gabby was included in memaw and papas circle of friends and they took her under their wings, A lot of teasing on both sides was a given. Many friends became her extended family and lifelong friends.
