Freddie Bloom Passed peacefully at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming after a long and hard 9-month battle with cancer.
Freddie was born in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Frankie Baker and Bonnie Whicker. He attended primary school up until 10th grade at Poudre H.S. in Ft. Collins where he went on and completed his GED.
Freddie is proceeded in death by his mother Bonnie Whicker and brother Ricky Mills. Freddie is survived by his soulmate and wife Tabitha Bloom (21 years of friendship and 3 almost 4 years of marital bliss). His children Mekhi Whicker (son), Shyanne Longtine (Stephan Taylor) grandsons Jordan, Christian, Santiego jr. and baby Micah. First wife and beloved friend of 17 plus years, Beverly Cortez (Bloom), Daughter Emily Bloom-Cortez, grandchildren Daniel, Solana, and Orion. Freddie is also survived by his eldest son Joshua Cortez and grandson Joshua Cortez Jr. from Ft. Collins, Colorado. Honorable mention Jimmie Ramage (brother) and Cody Ramage (nephew), Tanya Whicker (sister) and Kristen Whicker. Mekhi Whicker (adopted to), Saylor Whicker (niece) stepchildren Ava Sherer, Carter Sherer along with 8 grandchildren.
Freddie enjoyed working. He held many jobs and titles which he excelled at beyond most. His most current held employment was at American Remodeling aka WlydGear. This company made sure to hold onto Freddie even though this illness had taken his ability to work; we can’t thank them enough. Freddie loved to play pool. He had many friends on his close league team. His wife also joined in all the fun. Freddie won a scotch doubles tournament and was able to go to Nationals in Vegas where he made it to the second round even through his battle. Freddie spoke of this being on his bucket list.

Viewing will be Saturday June 8th from 2-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Service to follow at 3pm. Reception at the VFW on Bryan Stock Trail is to follow the service.
Freddie will be deeply missed by all whom his love touched, especially all his grandchildren whom he loved and said gave him life.
