Floy Gutierrez

Floy Gutierrez, age 52, of Casper, Wyoming passed away July 26, 2019. Floy was born August 8, 1966 in Meeker, Colorado to Eloy Gutierrez and Lora (Romero) Martinez. He graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1984. He enlisted in the United States Navy in December of 1988 and served in the Gulf War. He was honorably discharged in May of 1998. He worked at Walmart for many years. Floy was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Floy enjoyed watching movies, cooking, and reading a good book with a cup of coffee. His greatest moments were telling stories, joking around, and making others laugh.

Floy was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony, grandma and grandpa. He is survived by his mom, Lora Martinez, his sisters, Dolores Flores, Clara (Chuck) Jones, Irene Maestas, Birdy (Steve) Malsom, Lori Gutierrez, brother, Willy (Shawna) Gutierrez; nieces, Berdeena, Christina, Ursela, and Emily; nephews, Frank, Tino, and Antwan, Ramon, Tim, and Socorro, and all of their families, and his extended family members.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 2, 2019 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Military Honors and interment will follow at Oregon Trail State Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus in Floy's memory.
