She died Dec. 20, 2007, at Central Wyoming Hospice.
She was born in 1914 in London, England.
She married her devoted husband David May, in 1934.
Emigrating to the U.S. in 1959 to be with their daughters and first of many grandchildren, the couple lived in Pittsburgh, Pa., until her husband's death in 1975. She loved being creative in her knitting, sewing and leatherwork as well as enjoying reading biographies, corresponding with her many friends and relatives around the globe, and telling of her life's great experiences to those she knew and loved.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Travagline of Columbus, Ohio, and Doreen Bernard of Casper; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her as caring and loving person with a great imagination, deep curiosity, delightful sense of humor as well as love of life and family.
In lieu of flowers, she had requested donations to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson St., Casper, WY 82601, Casper Senior Center, 1831 E. 4th St, Casper, WY 82601, or the Casper Fire Department who kindly helped her on multiple occasions.
