Florence Irene Bell, 90, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on June 27, 2019 due to ongoing health complications. She was born to parents George S. Ames and Lucy L. Johnson, on May 26, 1929 in Centrellia, Washington. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She graduated from Centrellia High School in 1947. Upon graduating, she met the love of her life, Darwin V Bell, while he was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. They were married on December 2, 1948 in Centrellia, Washington. 14 years later, they were sealed for time and all eternity on June 13, 1962 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho temple. Together they raised 5 children: Ronald D. Bell, Joan I. Doney, Robert D. Bell, Dwayne V Bell, Kevin D. Bell.
Florence worked as a Waitress and Cook for 40 plus years in several different quaint cafes and diners while raising her children and contributing to her community. After 40 plus years of service, she retired in 1994. Where she and Darwin enjoyed traveling to Alaska and visiting other family.
She enjoyed spending time with and loving her children and grandchildren, she adored Camping and being outdoors. She looked forward to the annual Easter family gathering where she loved being the "banker" of the Easter egg hunt. She relished her travels as she visited family and friends. In her spare time, she could be found working on her newest embroidery project or serving in the Primary, Young Women's and attending Relief Society. She could also be found ministering to the elderly in her ward and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her 10 Siblings. Darwin V Bell, Husband, Peter David Doney, Son-in-law, Peggy Bell, Daughter-in-law, Robert D. Bell, Son and Afton Louise Roush, Great Granddaughter.
Florence is survived by Ronald D. Bell, Son, Joan I. Doney, Daughter, Dwayne V Bell, Son, Kevin D. Bell, Son, 22 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great-Grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on July 2, 2019 at 10:00 am until the start of the service beginning at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1922 S Poplar St, Casper, WY 82604.
