Evelyn M. Cummings, 95, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away December 17, 2013. She was born on April 18, 1918 in Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jon C. Cummings; her first husband and the father of her children, Richard S. Potter; son, Zachary W. Potter; brothers, Louis and Nelson Decker. Surviving family includes, daughters, Joan (Jon) Wing and Patricia Potter; brother, Bill Decker; grandchildren, Brenda (Tom) Janikowski, Brian (Lory) Wing, Greg (Kathy) Skinner, Julie McAllister, Kim Roper, Courtney Potter and Eric Potter; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Evelyn was known for her generous spirit and her ability to give so much of herself to the numerous organizations she belonged to. She held memberships with the Daughter's of the Nile, the Fort Casper Chapter of the Eastern Star and Zilah Club, The Say-Sews, and the Does. She was an active member of Highland Park Community Church for many many years and more recently Paradise Valley Christian Church. Evelyn enjoyed crochet, making silver jewelry, playing cards, most of all spending time with her family and caring for her grandchildren when they were younger. She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Paradise Valley Christian Church with inurnment to follow at Highland Cemetery.
