Eva L. Vinton, 87, passed away May 28, 2013 at the Wyoming Medical Center after a series of illnesses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Joe" Vinton; a grandson, Rodney Obe, and her own mother Hannah Lake of Rawlins.
Eva was the child of pioneer family. She was born on Snake River close to Baggs, Wyoming, and has lived in Casper for many years where she worked at Safeway retiring as non-foods manager. After that she worked as a crossing guard and is well known, cherishing many friends, throughout Casper, and Rawlins, Wyoming where her family lived for many years. Eva was also known for her dedication to various humanitarian services.
She is survived by two daughters, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A family service celebrating Eva's life will be held at a later date.
