Life History:
Grew up in Kansas where she attended schools. She met Milton "Bud" Esterline at Smokey Hill Air Force Base and they married June 4, 1944 at Salina Kansas. While Mr. Esterline was overseas during WWII she lived in Salina with her family. She was visiting her in laws in Casper in 1945 when she found out that Mr. Esterline's B-17 was shot down and he was a POW in Germany. After Mr. Esterline returned to the United States they lived at several bases until he was discharged from the service. They moved to Casper in 1946.
She started bowling while Mr. Esterline was overseas. She taught many Casper kids how to bowl at El Marko Lanes. She bowled professionally for two years. She bowled in the Classic League Pittsburg Pennsylvania She loved swimming, fishing and hunting. She always got her antelope during antelope season.
