Life History: Lennie grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She graduated in 1955 from High School in
Twin Falls, Idaho. She then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. She was discharged in 1956, also in 1956 she
met Gerald H. Weakland and was soon married . She married Wesley Kuhn in 1988.
She owned and operated Town and Country Beauty Salon for many years on CY Ave. in Casper
She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She was the first woman to serve on the Town Council in Mills. She served for 8 years.
She was a member of Wyoming Biker's Association where she helped start a down-riders fund to aid
families with an injured motorcyclist.
She enjoyed her friends and had many. Her hobbies included many types of artwork, needlepoint, crafts
and foiling. She loved a good bike run with the kids and loved to give advice.
