Emily Marie Weiner, age 27, of Casper, Wyoming, died on April 14, 2023 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper surrounded by her family.
Emily was born in Taos, New Mexico on February 15, 1996 to Terri and John Weiner. She attended schools in Casper, spending many years with Judy and Ardyth. Upon finishing school, Emily spent her days at The Arc of Natrona County and Independent Opportunities, enjoying her time with friends and staff members.
Despite the challenges Emily faced in her lifetime, she had an outsized personality. The special people in Emily's orbit saw her bravery and toughness. Her stubbornness was legendary. Without words, Emily loudly voiced her opinions for everyone to hear. Her smile would bring joy to everyone and her amazing laughter, which she kept until the end, would quiet a room. Emily had a Rebel Soul.
Emily is survived by her parents, John and Terri, big sister Bridget and her partner Derek Stanton, grandparents Roxanna Weiner and Marjorie Tooze, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special friends included Bonnie Gilbertson, Gary Cropsey & Paul Waid-Cropsey, Laura McCleary, and Morgan Cropsey. She was preceded in death by grandparents Robert Weiner, Maureen Hendrickx, and Roff Tooze.
