Eldon S. Raye

February 16, 1932 — November 4, 1932

Eldon Raye, 88, of Casper, WY left his earthly home and stepped into the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ on November 4, 2020. He was born on February 16, 1932 in Freda, North Dakota to Erhardt and Freda Schmidtgall. He attended school and graduated high school in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Eldon had various careers during his lifetime, from television and radio news and entertainment, to finance and investment, and eventually as an independent painting contractor.

He loved children, and spent several years hosting a children's television show called, "The Marshal Bill Show," on KFYR TV in Bismarck, North Dakota in the late 50's.

He was a prominent member of Highland Park Community Church, where he often held leadership roles in services and support groups such as Celebrate Recovery and adult Bible studies.

Eldon was proceeded in death by his parents, as well as his loving wife, Beverly, and a sister, Delores. He is survived by his twin brothers, Dave and Duane Madsen, his children, Jim Raye, Deb Muhlbeier, Mark Iverson, Bryce Iverson, stepdaughters Laura Weiss and Dawn Hendrickson, stepson Storm Charron, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Eldon will be held at Highland Park Community Church on Saturday, November 14th at 11 am.
