CASPER -- Mass of Christian burial for Eileen Patricia Nugent, 76, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday Feb. 15, 2008, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Father Keven Koch officiating.
Interment will follow at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.
Veiwing from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.,Thursday Feb. 14, 2008, with a rosary following.
She died Feb. 9, 2008 at the Wyoming Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 19, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Andrew and Elizabeth (Convey) King. She was raised and went to school in Brooklyn, New York.
She worked as a secretary for businesses in Brooklyn several years. She married James Nugent 1956, and relocated to Suffern, N.Y. They moved to Casper, WY in 1978. She at Southridge Elementary School as a librarian and as a secretary for several years and at the Glenrock Library as the children's librarian until retiring.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima and St. Anthony's Catholic Church and taught religious education.
She was a Right to Life volunteer for many years. She worked as an adult literacy volunteer, Poplar Living Center Nursing Home volunteer and Gabriel's Closet volunteer.
She enjoyed reading, tending to her house plants, baking and cooking. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by all of the lives she touched.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Nugent, Rolling Hills,and Rory Nugent, Herndon, Va., two sisters, Mary Thompson, Staten Island, N.Y. and Betty Ryan, Brooklyn, N.Y., eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
