Eileen Mcgowan

Eileen Marie McGowan, 65, of Casper, passed away Feb. 6, 2010 at Central Wyoming Hospice Home.
She was born May 14, 1944 in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Severen and Eleanor Graff Windholz. She graduated from Holy Family High School in Denver, CO in 1962. She was united in marriage to Robert E. McGowan June 18, 1966 in Denver, CO. She was employed as a teacher's aide at Jefferson County Schools in Colorado for over 20 years. Her main focus in life was caring for her family.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, her daughter Lisa Oakleaf and her husband Dan of Arvada, CO and a son Darren of Casper, WY., her mother, Eleanor of Casper, a granddaughter, Cyan, a brother, Larry Windholz of Brighton, CO, two sisters, Linda Vines of Casper, WY, Gloria Robbins of Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Jerry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed. Feb. 10, 2010, 2PM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Philip Vaske and Deacon Don Stewart as celebrants. Recitation of the Rosary will be Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, 6 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home with visitation to follow. Cremation will follow and a service will be announced in Denver, CO at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice Home. Arrangements under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.
