At his request, no services will be held for Edgar Francis Chew, Jr.
Ed was born July 18, 1925, in Plainfield,
NJ and died April 7, 2009, in Casper, WY.
He served in the US Navy Air Corps from 1943 to 1945, then attended Lehigh University.
He married Dolores Leese in 1948. They came to Wyoming in 1954. They later divorced. Ed was a lease broker in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bird watching, taking care of his yard, and helping others. He could build or repair anything expertly. He was also a talented painter.
Ed had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by three children, daughter, Gerry Peralez of Aurora, CO, son, Clifford Chew of Casper, daughter, Carla Chew of Casper; his sister, Doris Headrick of Mt Pocono, PA; his brother, Donald Chew and his wife Elsie of Haddonfield, NJ; and six nieces and nephews.
Cremains will be interred at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery.
