Earl Robert Colman, 80, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away November 9, 2013. He was born on January 22, 1933. He is preceded in death by his Father, Clarence Wilbur Colman, Mother, Helen Pauline Colman, Sister, Anna Colman, Brother, Clarence Colman, Jr., Brother, Kenneth Colman, Sister, Lois Colman, Sister, Ruth Colman, Brother, Fredrick Colman. Surviving family includes, Wife, Dorothy Von Osterheldt-Colman, Sons, Lt. Col. Paul (Norma) Von Osterheldt, James (Suzanne) Von Osterheldt, Lt. Col. John (Rebecca) Von Osterheldt, Tim (Connie) Colman, Gregg Colman, sisters, Evelyn Margurite Straight and Margaret Alice Colman, grandchildren, Amanda Wright, Karina Boyer, Emma, Isabelle, Claire, and Jack Colman Von Osterheldt, Jordan and Jacob Colman. In 1967 he married Kay Martin and adopted her sons, Tim and Gregg Martin-Colman. Earl proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Army. In 1991, he married Dorothy Von Osterheldt. Earl established Colman Equipment Co. in Casper, Wyoming with branches in Dickinson, Rapid City and Scottsbluff. Through his company he was proud to give job opportunities with training throughout the region and was well loved and respected. Earl was a Board Member of the National Truck Equipment Association. He enjoyed entertaining his family, friends, and employees in his home. Earl was forward thinking and innovative in his business and around the home. Throughout his life he enjoyed dancing, especially the Polka. Earl will always be remembered as a gentle and kind soul that will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him. Recitation of the Rosary, 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima. Burial will follow at Wyoming Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Casper Troopers or to the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Earl's name.
