Life History:
Dorothy married C.S. Gilliland on February 12, 1938. They moved to Wyoming in 1948, employed by Shell Oil Company,
living in numerous towns in the State. In 1960, they moved to Casper and in 1964,
they built the first Village Inn Pancake House, which they operated for three years.
They also started Wyoming Microfilming Service, the first microfilming company in the state.
She was Past Guardian for the State of Wyoming Job's Daughter's, and also a member of the Eastern Star.
She taught piano lessons and played viola with the symphony.
Dorothy was very active in church work, playing piano and organ and directing the church choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. S. "Gill" Gilliland.
She is survived by: Daughters Sondra Plumb and husband Ron of Douglas, Wyoming;
Sadella Golen, of Casper, Wyoming and Barbara Lockwood and husband Scott of Gillette, Wyoming.
Five Grandsons; 14 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Granddaughter;
and a brother Ralph McIntosh, of Sun City Arizona.
