Donald (Donny) D. Trammell, age 57, of Casper, passed away from a heart attack on July 25, 2017.
Donny was born on November 11, 1959 in Evanston, Wyoming to Donald T. Trammell and Cecil Ann (Cindy) Trammell.
Donny was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Trammell and stepson, Michael Quenzer. Donny is survived by his loving wife, Gwen Trammell of Casper, parents, Donald T. Trammell and Cindy Trammell of Douglas WY, son, Douglas Trammell of Cheyenne WY, daughter, Jessica Rodgers of Cheyenne WY, son Eric Moody of Cheyenne WY, stepdaughter, Samantha (Eric) Hardzog of Baggs WY, grandchildren; Danielle, Vincent, Nicholas, Damian, Ellie, and Brenna, brothers; Dan (Diana) Trammell of Denver, CO, Michael Trammell of Twin Falls, ID, and Jeff Trammell of Twin Falls, ID, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Donny graduated Cheyenne East High in 1978. He worked many years in the concrete industry in Cheyenne, WY and later in Casper, WY. Donny then worked in the field of Archaeology, Cartography and finally ending up in the Uranium industry before early retirement.
Donny loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and camping with his wife in the mountains. He enjoyed paleontology, geology and archaeology. His soul thrived in the mountains. The Snowy Range was his absolute favorite place on earth. There will be no services, per his request.
