Donald McAdam, 83 of Casper, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home in Casper, WY. Don was born June 15, 1931 near the Cut Bank, Montana area. He went to school in Cut Bank graduating in 1949. Upon graduation he went to work in the Oil Fields and worked in the drilling industry most of his life except for 2 years that he spent in the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughters, Lee Ann Getten, Barb Loyning, Carol Robinson, Laura Norfolk; son, Mike McAdam; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Ted McAdam, Scotty McAdam, and Max McAdam; and sister, Mona Arnott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maude and Robert McAdam; brothers, Lloyd McAdam, Bob McAdam, Roy McAdam, and Charles McAdam; sisters, Mary Norton, Blanche Wadman, Glennette Duncan, and Annie Blair; daughter, Rose; grandson, Derek McAdam; and wife, Margaret.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Meals on Wheels or Friends of Hospice in Don's name.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, April 3, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Paradise Valley Christian Church, 188 Valley Drive, Casper, WY, with military honors.
