It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Husband, Father and Grandfather, Donald Andrew Haverlock, 67, on February 26, 2022, in Casper, Wyoming. His smile and wit will be missed.
Don was born to Andrew and Barbara Haverlock on September 28, 1954. He was joined five years later by a sister, Brenda, and four years after that by a brother Brad. Don was raised in Casper, Wyoming and attended Natrona County High School. Don spent his career with Updike Brothers until he retired.
Don is survived by his beloved wife Tammy, his children Dustin (Becky) Haverlock, Danielle (Wesley) Duckworth, Loresa Brinkerhoff, Lorinda Roessing, Jacky Roessing, his grandchildren Cindy (Dustin) Gillis, Brandon Haverlock, LaShaunna, Daniel, Benjamin and Christopher Brinkerhoff, Daimion Pederson, Christian Roessing, Josiah and Nicholas Hamilton, Dakota, Shelby and Riley Eldridge, Kyle Roessing, his great-grandchildren Emily and Ethan Gillis, Jace and Skyler Brinkerhoff and Zavier Gonzales, his sister Brenda (Terry) McGlothlin and his brother Brad (Wendy) Haverlock, his nephew Zachary (Silvia) Matteau, his great niece Evelyn, many cousins and extended family.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Barbara Haverlock, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Don was a true outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. He would take any opportunity to go to Pathfinder and Alcova to camp and fish. When he was not in the great outdoors, he was in his yard tending his garden, working on home projects and wood working, building model cars, completing puzzles, showing support for the Denver Sports teams and the University of Wyoming sports teams, and traveling and seeing new sights. His favorite pastime was gambling in Riverton with his wife.
A service for Don will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Butch's in Evansville, Wyoming following the service.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Banner Wyoming Medical and Central Wyoming Hospice for the dignity and care they gave Donnie during his illness.
