Donald Leroy Alm, age 47, of Casper, passed away June 18, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice.
Donald was born June 29, 1968 in Casper, WY to Don and Julianne (Fox) Alm.
He was a loving and hardworking husband, father & friend, whom will be deeply missed. He was a man of many blessings and he loved his 4 children, Haylee (23), Peighton (10), Hudson (17), and Michael (9). His children were his biggest accomplishment. His brothers Mitch and Jimmy, were very important to him. He loved and looked up to them for guidance.
"DJ" had a passion for fishing, camping, golfing - and spending time with his family & friends. He was such a funny, loving, and caring man. He would do anything for anyone. He loved to have fun and make people laugh by telling his many jokes. His favorite movies include "John Wayne movies, Caddy Shack, Ace Ventura, Tommy boy, and any comedy with Jim Carey. He was best at quoting movie lines such as "Get in my belly" from the movie Austin Powers. He was a avid Bronco's fan. DJ began his career in construction at a young age when he worked beside his father at their family owned company, D.A. Stinger. Construction was his life and he never dreamed of doing anything else.
In addition to his parents, Donald was also preceded in death by his brother, Chris Alm, and his niece, Sarah Alm.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Kay Alm, his children, Haylee (Mike) Bower, Peighton Alm, Hudson Alm, Michael Alm; grandson, Camden Boese (age 3); brothers, Mitchell (Roxanne) Alm of Kentucky and Jimmy Alm of Casper; his nephew, Mitch (Sug) of Utah, and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at 329 East 12th Street, Casper, WY, 82601.
