Life History:
Grew up in Hoxie, Kansas.
Join the US Navy in 1942 and was a pilot stationed on the USS Enterprise and later on the USS Manila Bay serving in the South Pacific. While on the USS Manila Bay the unit received the Navy Unit Commendation for outstanding heroism. After the war he went to Idaho and worked in the lumber industry. In 1948 he moved to Casper. He worked as a barber at the Henning Hotel and later owned the shop. He started the Westridge Shop when the center was first built and later had one on St. Mary in North Casper. During his retirement he worked part time at Mt. View Barber Shop. He was a member of Sheriff's Posse and patrolled the mountain. He was founder and president of the Wyoming Emergency Radio Club a search and rescue volunteer group
