Diana L. Jackson, 63, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at 11:28 am in Casper, Wyoming at Wyoming Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. Born February 13, 1959, in Almagordo, NM at Holloman Air Force Base to Goode and Trudy Cheatham. Moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1961; Where she attended Crest Hill Elementary, Dean Morgan Junior High and was part of the class of 1977 Natrona County High School, where She was a part of the High School swim team.
She married Gilbert Arellano with whom she had three children with Jesse, Dede and Matthew. They were subsequently divorced in 1985. She graduated from Casper Community College in 1983 with an associate of Nursing from there she worked in a variety of places including Wyoming Medical Center the offices of her father Goode Cheatham and also was a traveling nurse from 1990-2000 and most passionately worked in nursing homes here in Casper. In 2005, she was happily married to Kevin Jackson whom she enjoyed various moments with and numerous hobbies from playing pool, painting by numbers, needlepoint crocheting, stained glass and wood working. Some of her most favorite times were spent fishing and gold prospecting with her husband Kevin while spending times in the outdoors. Sundays after church were spent in front of the T.V. watching her favorite NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon and now Chase Elliott.
She is preceded in death by her parents Goode and Trudy, along with her oldest son Jesse whom she has happily reunited with Monday morning.
She is survived by her Husband Kevin, her two children Dede Wallace and Matthew Arellano. Her siblings Debra Cheatham, Goode "Chip" Cheatham III and William "Bill" Cheatham along with her grandchildren Isaac Williams, Robbin Walling, Jessika Arellano, Trey Swaffard, Chanel Weber-Arellano and also her great grandchildren Mavis Walling and Genesis Arellano.
Diana's wishes are that NO cut flowers be brought to her services and that all donations be made to Kevin Jackson via Hilltop National Bank and Word Christian Fellowship for the children's church.
Her ashes will be intertwined with her son and teddy bear, Jesse in the outdoors where she found her eternal peace.
The service will be held at WORD Christian Fellowships Church on Twelfth and Melrose in Casper Wyoming at 11:00am on Saturday December 3, 2022. Pastor Angela Haigler will be officiating.
