Devyn Rain Neal, 16, of Casper, Wyoming passed away suddenly at home Saturday, August 29, 2020 from an undiagnosed heart condition.
Devyn was born on September 26, 2003 in Laramie, Wyoming to Dustin and Darci Neal. Her family relocated to Casper where she grew up. She was a student at Natrona County High School and was looking forward to starting her Junior Year. She worked part time at Pizza Hut where she made great friends.
She will be remembered for her amazing smile, strong spirit and silly nature. She loved cats, always wanting to take in more than the two she already had and was often sending funny cat videos to her parents. She loved dancing, and singing. She loved to go camping at the lake and paddle boarding at Edness Kimball Wilkins Park. She trained in Tae Kwon Do in Casper under Grand Master Stan Martin and earned her First Degree Black Belt. She was strong-willed and a fierce competitor. She loved the friends she had very much.
Devyn spent much of her time with her younger brother Dash and would take him to the movies, or the park. Even though they had a large gap in their age they had a strong bond.
Devyn is survived by her parents, Dustin and Darci Neal and her brother Dashal River Neal of Casper, WY; Maternal grandmother Carolyn Hunter of Riverton, WY and Paternal grandparents, James and Deena Neal of Ryan Park, WY; Aunts Shannon Neal of Casper, WY and Jamie Hunter of Wheatland, WY and cousins Landen Moore, Michael McCullough, Taylor Minard and Hunter Minard.
A celebration of life is planned to take place at Newcomer Funeral Home on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 1 PM, with a reception to follow.
