Debra Ann Bohart, age 65, of Glenrock Wyoming, passed away on September 22, 2020 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County. She was born on September 5, 1955 in Rural Embarrass, Illinois to Richard Lee Orndorff and Barbara Jane Watts. Debra was the third oldest child out of 4. She married James Bohart on January 26, 2000. Debra had 3 children (Dawn, Trenton, and Alan) from previous marriages. She was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 1 step-grandson.

Debra went to Campbell County High School and eventually received her GED, and received her Nursing Degree in 1978. She studied Business & Accounting at Casper College. She was a nurse for the Natrona County Jail, Wyoming Medical Center, and Converse County Memorial Hospital and was a nurse in the US Army for 3 years. She drove semi-trucks for various trucking companies in Wyoming. She was a volunteer for Western Converse County Fire Department for 4 years. She drove school bus for Converse County School District #2 for 8 years.

Debra enjoyed her summers gardening, camping and fishing. During the colder months she enjoyed hunting for deer/elk, quilting and watching NBA basketball. She took a lot of pride in caring for her animals. Her dream was to own a Collie dog. Recently, she was finally able to have 2 Collies, Cassie and Lassie. She also enjoyed having family over for home cooked meals and playing cards (spades was her favorite) afterwards. She also loved woodworking and making whatever her heart desired.

Debra loved her family and spending time with them especially her grandchildren. Debra was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Glenrock, Wyoming. At the time of her death she was the secretary for her church. Debra was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Trenton (Dominique) Chapman of Glenrock, Alan Chapman of Ogden, UT, Step-son; Richard (Paula) Cripe of Cheyenne, Siblings; Brother-Mike Orndorff of Casey, IL, Sisters- Connie (John) Blake of Glenrock, Kim (Patrick) McJunkin of Casper; Grandchildren, Dalton, Matthew, Myles, Rebecca, Braden and Kendrick Chapman, Traven, Tavia Weymouth of Glenrock, Step-grandson Michael Nutt of Saginaw, MI. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Debra is proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Dawn, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive guests at the Newcomer Funeral Home (710 E 2nd Street, Casper WY 82601) on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 5-7:00pm. A memorial service will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (939 W Birch St, Glenrock WY 82637) on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 10 am, burial will follow at Glenrock Cemetery. A celebration of life will be at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church following the service and burial.
