Debbie Jo Ann "Peaches" Marsh, 54, of Evansville, WY passed away at Central Wyoming Hospice October 26th, 2017 from a tough battle with ovarian cancer.
The funeral service will be held at 11am on November 4th, at Faith Bible Chapel. Pastor Dale of Faith Bible Chapel will be officiating. A luncheon to follow ceremony also at Faith Bible Chapel.
Peaches was born in Oceanside, CA on November 21st, 1962. She was raised by her wonderful grandparents; Harry, and Faith Jones. She attended Yucca Valley High School.
Peaches met the love of her life. Leon "Lee" Marsh and they were married on October 19th, 1985; they were married 32 years. They were married 7 years before they had their only child. Peaches and her husband moved to Wyoming in the early '90's; mainly due to her fear of earthquakes, and to be near family. She gave birth to her only child on November 26th, 1992. They were expecting a baby boy, but to their surprise they ended up with a baby girl.
Peaches worked in retail for over 20 years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-Wheeling, being outdoors, country music, Garth Brooks, and of course raising goats. She was actively involved in the Natrona County 4-H. She was always thrilled to help people out with their goat problems. She helped strangers, and anyone else who needed assistance with their goats. She was one of the most caring people, and helped others with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Peaches had an extraordinary love for animals. She would bring new one's home all the time, and her husband would just have to deal with it.
Peaches was a giver and very independent. Even as she grew ill with her cancer. She was determined to do everything for herself. She even chased her grandbaby around even though she was in pain. She was a very strong woman.
Peaches is survived by her husband Lee, her daughter Cheyanne, her grandson Owen, and other family and friends.
Peaches is preceded in death by her dad Harry Jones, and her mom Faith Jones.
Our family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Rocky Mountain Infectious Disease. They gave Peaches extraordinary care, and went above and beyond our expectations. We would also like to thank the wonderful ladies at Central Wyoming Hospice. They are so compassionate, and made this challenging time as pleasant as possible.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Lee Marsh to help assist with medical bills.
