Dean Robert Weber passed October 16, 2019 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, surrounded by his family. He was born August 17, 1924 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Robert Boyd and Lora (Heebner) Weber. Shortly after the family moved to Hot Springs, South Dakota where he attended school. He served in the Navy during WWII, and returned to South Dakota and attended South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota. After graduating, he returned to Hot Springs and was introduced to Joyce Hoff by his mother. Joyce and Lora were nurses at Lutheran Hospital. Dean later attended the University of South Dakota where he earned a masters degree in Math and Physics.
Dean and Joyce were married September 16, 1948. They had three children, Robert (Bob)(Grenay), Barbara (Reece), and Colleen(John). Dean was blessed with six grandchildren, Rob( Blair) Weber, Joy ( Denim) Smith, Leif (Cara) Peterson, Jarren (Ka'lon) Dean, John (Heidi) Haass and Adam (Amie) Haass. He had thirteen beautiful and smart great- grandchildren Robby and Lilly Weber, Barrett and Brady Smith, Avery, Norah and Kellen Peterson, Ayo Dean, Evelyn,Grace and John Haass and Madison and Grant Haass.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lora Weber and his sister , Ruth Alexander.
The family moved to Casper in 1960. Dean started teaching mathematics at Dean Morgan Junior High, and later moved to Natrona County High School, where he taught for 29 years. He retired in 1985. Dean and Joyce enjoyed traveling, golfing, church, proudly volunteering at Meals in Wheels for 15 years, and faithfully donated blood every three months for 20 plus years.

Services will be held on Monday, October 21 at 10:00am at the Newcomer Funeral Home. A reception will be held following the service.
