On Sunday, September 4, 2011, David Leonard Whisler passed away unexpectedly on his ranch west of Casper,Wy. David began his life in Newcastle, Wyoming on June 24, 1964. Son to Leonard and Mary Jean (Woods) Whisler, David lived in Upton, Wyoming attending elementary school and graduating from Upton High School in 1982. He Attended Casper College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Engineering. In 1987 he married Lynette (Ewing) and fathered 3 children Brandon, Tyler, and Alexandra.

In 1991 David started Splicer Cable Service and Supply where he began exercising his entrepreneurial aspirations, and through which he found many successes. In 2001 David married his soul mate, Jenise (Ballard) becoming father also to Allan and Alixzandra. In 2003 he began ventures in ranching, which became a passion of his. In 2005 he became a grandfather. David loved and lived for his family and friends where "more was better."

David is survived by: his wife, Jenise Whisler of Casper; children, Brandon (Aspen), Tyler, Allan, Alexandra, and Alixzandra of Casper; brother, Kevin (Linda) Whisler of Upton, sisters, Betty Kanode of Moorcroft, Dorothy (Joe) Wondercheck of Moorcroft, Judy (Ken) Kehn of Gillette, Polly (Adam) Miller of Bozeman, Mt; grandchildren, Trinity, Maximus, & Gavin of Casper. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

MEMORIAL SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 9, 2011 at The Restoration Church, 411 South Walsh Dr., Casper. Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.
