David Gunn

July 23, 1957 — December 3, 2019

A celebration of life for David "Danny" Scott Gunn will be held Dec. 12, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Mountain View Baptist Church. David was born on July 23, 1957 in Glendive, Montana. He was called home to heaven on December 3, 2019. Surrounded by his loving family. He had many passion in life including his country and service in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1978.

David rarely met a person that he didn't make smile with his sarcasm and goofy personality. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, really anything outdoors. When he wasn't out enjoying the outdoors, he was volunteering in the Kitchen at Mountain View Baptist Church. His last wish was to make it through one more hunting season which he did with his son and grandsons by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rose of 34 years, his son, Robert (Brittany) Gunn of Casper, Daughter, Heather (Mariano) of California, Daughter Angela (Seth) Coleman of Mills, Seven grandchildren, Stephen, Alexxis, Makayla, Madison, Hunter, Eligh and Newton. David is also survived by sisters, Kay (Jerry) Vailes of Illinois, Bonita (Donald) Dunlow of North Carolina, and brothers, Butch (Ruby) Jones of Virginia, and William Smith of North Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sue Doyle, and his sons, Jackie Gunn and Jason Gunn. His natural mother-Marilyn and his adopted mother, Neta Jo.

In lieu of flowers; donations are asked to be made to either Central Wyoming Hospice or the "Kitchen" at Mountain View Baptist Church.
