CASPER -- Funeral services for Mills resident, Darryl Wayne Williams, 61, will be at 10 a.m. today, August 24, 2008, at the Casper Air Modeler Facility with Chaplain Ellis Kaster officiating.
Military rites will take place at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.
He died on August 21, 2008, at Wyoming Medical Center.
He was born on June 12, 1947, in Lander, to Wilbur Clarence Williams and Pearl Atha Strawn. He grew up throughout Wyoming, graduating from High School in Riverton.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1965, serving for 10 years most of the time in Germany and Korea.
He enjoyed fast draw, fast cars, fishing, dog sports, flying radio control airplanes and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Williams of Mills; daughter, Michelle Williams of Casper; sister, Theresa Combs of Casper; brother, Woody Williams of Chewelah, Wash.; mother, Pearl Williams of Casper; and many nieces and nephews
Memorials in his name may be sent to the Casper Humane Society.
