Darby Gene Roe

April 16, 1964 — December 4, 2013

Darby G. Roe, passed away peacefully at his home December 4th 2013, he was born April 16th 1964 in Douglas, Wyoming to Benjamin and Glada Roe. Darby and his family moved to Glenrock as a sophomore and graduated from Glenrock High School in 1982. Darby was Glenrock's first state champion wrestler. Following high school he joined United States Army and was stationed in Germany. In 1986 he left the Army and came home to the Wyoming National Guard where he served until 1996. In 1998 he met the love of his life Debbie who he loved deeply and married her in January of 2001. Darby is survived by loving parents, Benjamin and Glada Roe; his brother, Steven Roe; wife, Debbie; Son, Lonnie and Tonya Porter; Daughter, Jennifer and Ray Abrams; Grandchildren, Preston McLagan, Hayze and Wyatt Porter; Nephew, Brooks; and his Niece, Maggie Roe. Darby loved hunting and was a hunting guide for Henry Ranch Outfitters for 10 years, he then took employment at NARM Coal Mine until his passing. He loved spending time with family and friends sharing laughs. Darby will be surely missed. A Graveside Service will be held at the Glenrock Cemetery, 1:00 PM, on Saturday, December 7, 2013 with a reception to follow at the Shoreliner.
