Danny Wurtz

June 7, 1947 — April 10, 2012

Danny was born in Thermopolis, WY to Ollie and Alice Wurtz. He relocated to Boise, Idaho as a teen. At age 17 he joined the National Guard. He met his wife, Betty, and they had two children.

The family moved to Wyoming in the mid 1970's. In the early 1980's he was self employed driving his own semi-truck and buying and selling real estate. Later he started Native Auto Salvage and operated the business with his wife until his untimely death. The business was built with hard work, honesty, and tough negotiating. Not taking much time off, he always enjoyed visiting his two daughters and spending time play slot machines in Deadwood(Especially on Kool Deadwood Nights).

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dairld and Donal.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty. Daughters, Julie Morgan of Cookeville, TN, and Tammy Teasley of Denver. Three grandchildren; Jesse, Nora, and Nona and one great-grandchild, Brielle. Two sisters, Dorothy Wurtz and Doris Hess, and five brothers, David, Dennis, Dale, Dean and Duane.
Memorials may be made in Danny's honor to the Casper Humane Society, 849 East E Street, Casper, WY 82601.
