Curtis Lee Cheetham of Casper died at his home on February 21, 2016 after a 19 year journey with multiple sclerosis.
He was the son of James and Freda Cheetham of Dutton, Montana. He graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1975. After moving to Casper in 1980, he began his nearly 30 year career with Halliburton.
Curtis is survived by his children Chad Findlay (Tracy) and Shannon Fisk (Darrell) and their children Caie and Ellie Findlay, Joey and Wesley Kalitovic. He is also survived by his siblings Chris Jeffres, Tom Cheetham (Judy), Allin Cheetham (Gail), John Cheetham (Robin), Craig Cheetham (Melinda), and many nieces and nephews that he enjoyed very much. Additionally, Curtis is survived by his caregiver and friend, LeAnn Thompson plus her daughter Hanna.
Curtis is most remembered by his warm smile, kindness, adventurous spirit, devotion to his work, and his unrelenting determination to continue life as normal well after his diagnosis. Curtis refused to be defined by Multiple Sclerosis. Rather, he faced each road-block as the next challenge to be conquered. This has been and always will be an inspiration for those who have witnessed his journey.
