CASPER -- A memorial service for Connie Marie Adams, 52, will be held at Highland Park Community Church on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at Parkway Plaza, 123 W. E Street.
She died Oct. 9, 2007.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1954, in Deadwood, S.D., the daughter of Bonnnie LaRue Brewer and Warren Derosier. She graduated from Spearfish High School in 1972. She moved to Casper in 1979. She married the love of her life, Dan Adams, on April 19, 1984 in Chicago.
A beautiful, vivacious, artistic, hard-working lady, she loved life and she loved her family deeply, always caring for them and putting their needs above her own. Spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren was a priority to her, and especially a highlight when they could all be outdoors.
She was a fantastic interior decorator and did painting and wallpapering as a home business for many years. She had an abundance of energy and enjoyed many hobbies and interests including a variety of crafts, sewing, cooking, gardening and all outdoor activities, including floating the river.
Survivors include her soul mate, Dan, Casper; five children, Stacey Munalem and her husband, Phoenix, Ariz., Tyler Torgerson, Spearfish, S.D.; Colter Adams, Laramie; Bridger and Quincey Adams, Casper; her father, Warren Derosier and stepmother, Florence Derosier, Spearfish, S.D.; one brother, Kerry Derosier, Belle Fourche, S.D.; three sisters, Diane VanTassel, Deadwood, S.D., Dori Avila, Black Hawk, S.D., and Patsy Lutz, Sheridan and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie LaRue Brewer.
