Colten Christopher Roper, born on November 27, 1985, journeyed from this world on May 16, 2024. He was the beloved son of Darlene (Parks) Chrisopherson and Curtis Roper, and his formative years were spent amidst the serene landscapes of Douglas, Wyoming.
Colten's departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who held him dear. He is survived by his cherished sister Michelle and her husband Abel Resendiz of California, and his brother Jeremy and sister-in-law Tiffany Parks of Nebraska.
Throughout his life, Colten's spirit thrived in the embrace of the great outdoors. Whether casting a line into waters, navigating rugged trails, or cruising down scenic highways on his motorcycle, he found solace and joy in nature's bounty. His love for adventure was matched only by his affection for dogs, who were his faithful companions on many escapades.
Colten's passions extended beyond the natural world. He found fulfillment and purpose in his role as a truck driver, traversing the open road with determination and zeal. But perhaps his greatest joy came from the bonds he forged within the Celebrate Recovery community and the Broken Chains Motorcycle Club. Among kindred spirits, he discovered love, acceptance, and a sense of belonging that enriched his life immeasurably.
Those fortunate enough to have known Colten will fondly recall his infectious laughter, his goofy antics, and his indomitable free spirit. In every gathering, he was the beacon of joy, radiating warmth and camaraderie to all who crossed his path.
As we bid farewell to Colten Christopher Roper, let us take solace in the enduring memories he leaves behind. May his adventurous soul find eternal peace, and may his legacy of love and laughter continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Colten
