Clifford R. Wilson of Casper passed away on February 22nd, he was born in 1924 in Worland, Wy. He attended schools throughout the state, as his father worked for the railroad as section foreman. He then moved to Denver, where he graduated high school. Cliff enlisted in the Navy in 1943, where he entered WWII. He was stationed in Port Angeles, WA, on PC796, patrolling the West Coast against enemy submarines. While there, he met and married Jennie McQueen. Cliff loved his dogs so much, that a close friend once told him, "when I die, I want to come back as one of your dogs!" (and we think he probably did) We know that his dogs: Shrimpy, Tuffy, Pharaoh, Princess Schotzie, Lady and Taylor were waiting with panting tongues and wagging tails for there Daddy to join them in their play.
Cliff was preceded in death by 2 brothers, and his oldest son, Clifford W. Wilson. He is survived by Jennie, his wife of 69 years, his daughters, Jenny Wilson of Las Vegas, NV, Cathy McCarrel and her husband Ken, of Yuma, AZ and son Robert and his wife Jean of Evansville.
