Private services for Claretta (Heller) Benesh were held at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel, September 18, 2012, with Pastor Royce Brown officiating. Claretta passed away on September 14, 2012. She was born on 6/4/1925 in Van Tassell, WY to Adolph and Clara Heller, fourth oldest of twelve children. She spent her younger years in the Ft. Laramie and Torrington area where she met the love of her life Joseph Benesh. Together they had three daughters. They were married almost fifty five years when Joe passed away from Alzheimer's.
Claretta worked in the kitchen of Wyoming Medical Center as Food Service Supervisor where she retired in 1986 after twenty six years of service.
She was a very loving Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed life and never spoke ill of others. She loved traveling. She will be deeply missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters Frieda, Blondina, Alberta Everett, Elsie Keeran, Hazel Hoekstra and Brother Lorenz Heller. Surviving sisters are Dorothy Peterson and Della Wolfe and Brothers Harry, Leslie and LaVern Heller.
Claretta is also survived by her daughters; Clairene (Jim) McAnulty of Casper and children Jim (Kendra), Lonnie and Dawn (Brandon) Shipper and five grandchildren. Racine (Dave) Morgan of Casper, children Will and Travis, and Halene (Phil) Myers of Cave Creek, AZ.
