Clara "Cookie" Lorraine Dressler, 76, of Casper WY passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. Services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Cookie was born on November 21, 1935 Casper, WY to Clarence A. Cook and Theadora A. (Becker) Cook.
She worked 31 years at Mountain Bell starting as a switchboard operator and became one of the first women to hold a man's job as Inner Office Technician for the company. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, music and movies. We all knew and loved her for her infectious laugh.
Surviving her are four daughters, Shelley Malson (Russ), Gaylene Tomas (Nick), Denise Felten and Lori Wormus (Mark) and one stepson Kurt Dressler (Debbie), one brother Ronald Cook, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great- great grandson and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Laverne K. Wentzloff, grandson Kelly D. Dressler, granddaughter April M. Thompson and son-in-law Richard E. Malson.
