Cheryl Elaine Vanatta

Cheryl Elaine Vanatta passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024. She was born April 5, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Lyle and Lillian Miller. The family moved to Casper in 1949. Cheryl graduated from Natrona County High School in 1966.

Cheryl was married to Larry Vanatta on June 12, 1971, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They had two children: Jana and Julie. Cheryl dedicated the early years of her life to nurturing her children with boundless love and care. Her role as a homemaker was marked by selflessness and dedication, creating a warm and loving home that will forever be etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

As her children grew older, Cheryl transitioned seamlessly into a new chapter of her life, contributing significantly to the family business. She operated Beltone Hearing Aid Center after her parents' retirement in 1987. She recently retired.

Her family was special to her, and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with them, especially her daughters and granddaughters. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a member of the International Hearing Aid Society.

A fervent follower of politics, she engaged in spirited discussions, always eager to share her opinions and insights. Her keen interest in the world around her reflected a deep commitment to Making America Great Again.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and watching her two favorite football teams – the Denver Broncos and the Buffalo Bills. She was Josh Allen's biggest fan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, and her parents Lyle and Lillian Miller.

She is survived by her daughters Jana Webb (Richard) of Gillette, Wyoming, Julie Hollenbeck (David) of Billings, Montana, granddaughters Payson and Gracie Webb of Gillette, Wyoming, and brother Ron (Kay) Miller of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

In accordance with the wishes of Cheryl, there will be no public services held. She expressed a desire for a private and intimate farewell.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson St, Casper, Wyoming 82601, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 400 Country Club Road, Casper, Wyoming 82609 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
